Adam shared that these new tales will give the viewers a new perspective in looking at the core characters. Apparently, he mentioned that season 6 will take place in Storybrooke once more.

He even told The Hollywood Reporter that it does not mean that the whole story will take place somewhere else. He thinks that at the when the finale finishes, fans will get understand how season 6 will be- “it’s both a little something old and something new.”

The showrunners also want to revive some familiar faces in the show. Once Upon A Time Season 6 spoilers show that the executive producers would love to have Ruby and Dorthy back in the series. They even plan to bring some realms which the show has not delved much into.
